The Portsmouth Fleet consists of all the dinghies and catamarans
that want to race, but don't belong to our club's one-design fleets.
These boats race against each other and in order to determine their finishing places, they are scored by time. Then the results are adjusted, according to the boat's Portsmouth handicap, by using their Portsmouth Yardstick D-PN Ratings. The Portsmouth Fleet currently includes such diverse boats as
Melges 17, RS Feva, MC Scow, OK Dinghy, Sunfish, Wherry,
Hobie 16 and Hobie 18, but other designs are welcomed to join the fun.
