Rick Conaway, Joe Petitjean and Eric Waldschmidt went to the Cotton Pickin' Regatta 
near Memphis and, after 2 days a fierce competion ( with approx. 17 boats in the race), 
they placed 5th! That's a great accomplisment, considering the quality of sailing! 

Next Regatta for Lightnings is the 37th Annual Bluenose Regatta that 
will be held at Harbor Island Yacht Club on Old Hickory Lake near Nashville, TN, 
on October 31 - November 2. This year the famous Hays-Fisher Sailing/Racing Clinic
