If you are going up 367 from I-270 (Florissant/Hazelwood)  – you will turn left on 94 by the Pit Stop Gas Station.  After you cross the tracks near the Power Plant it’s about a mile to our turn off.  You will  come up to a mild “S” turn. The Valley sign will be on the left, pointing to the right.  Instead of turning, take the gravel road that goes straight and then turns right to take you through the fields and over the levee.  Turn left into the first gate after you go over the levee. Valley Sailing Association is in Machens, MO just East of Portage de Sioux, on Alton Lake Click here for interactive MAP-SATELITE   I-270 to I-370.West to Hwy 94. East on 94. Hwy 94 is a 2 lane state road that winds around for about 15 miles.  You will pass the junction for Portage Des Sioux (Highways H & J). About 1 mile later you will come to a mild “S”  turn. Be on the watch for the wooden Valley Sailing sign at the 2nd bend of the “S”. The sign is on the right, but you will be turning sharply (almost a  “U” turn) onto the gravel drive to the left. You go between two brick houses on a gravel road that takes you through the fields and over the levee. Turn left into the first gate.
