Introducing a new non-profit sailing program at Cachuma Lake!

Our Vision

We are excited to introduce you to a newly founded non-profit organization serving Lompoc Valley, Santa Ynez Valley, and Santa Maria Valley. Founded on the mission of the late Howard Harvey, Valley Sailing hopes to bring the joy of sailing to under-served youth on Cachuma Lake.

Club Members

*Stay tuned for more information to come!

We currently have a fleet of eight 22’ Pearson sailboats.

A club member can captain a sailboat if they have a Basic Keelboat Sailing Certification from US Sailing or American Sailing Association.

We will also try to offer certification classes periodically to allow for new club members to become certified in keelboat sailing.

This is a great program to join if you are interested in sailing and would like to take your family or friends out for a sail at Lake Cachuma! Your monthly membership will also enable the scholarship of an under-served youth in Santa Barbara County a chance to learn how to sail as well.

Legacy Donors

Give the gift of sailing to under-served youth in our valleys! Becoming a Legacy Donor with HHM Valley Sailing is a great way to show your support for our program, without the commitment of sailing. We are looking for businesses and individuals to commit to a monthly donation of any amount. Your donations in-part will become scholarships for under-served youth in our area. You will also be invited to any of our fun sailing events planned at Lake Cachuma!

Curator Teams

Create your own sailing club for churches, companies, schools, and groups. These curator teams would maintain a specific boat on a regular basis, getting to sail as often as they’d like!
